Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer - 6 Month Contract - London - £30 - £40 Per Hour

My client is looking for a mechanical engineer to join their team taking a leading role in the mechanical design, manufacturing, production engineering and development of battery system projects.

You will have a minimum 5 years industry experience with strong mechanical engineering, production engineering, and manufacturing process knowledge.

Key Experience & Responsibilities:

• Working as well as supervising within a multidisciplinary or project teams utilising your skills and experience in product development & production.
• Deliver profitable and high-quality solutions in line with customer requirements.
• To continue to improve existing products using the latest technologies to stay in line with the company's market lead.
• Experience with large lithium-ion battery systems
• Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques for sheet metal, extrusions, plastic components and machining
• Strong AutoDesk Inventor
