Location: Filton 60% onsite, hybrid

Pay rate: Up to £38 per hour.

An innovative company at the forefront of the aerospace industry, located in Filton is actively seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join its engineering team. The company is globally recognized for its innovation and contributions to the aviation industry.

Positioned within the Landing Gear Department's Mechanical Systems (Gears) team.

Tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Typical tasks involve investigating root causes, implementing solutions (like equipment modifications via the Change process), and developing and qualifying new systems (including validation and verification of requirements).
• Proactively investigate root causes and implement solutions (e.g., equipment modifications through the Change process).
• Ensure Landing Gear mechanical systems meet Safety, Time/Cost/Quality standards.

Skills:

• Expertise in Mechanical system development, including hydro-mechanical components, and proficiency in applying systems engineering methodology, particularly in requirements management.
• Extensive background in Engineering, with a focus on systems and equipment design.
• Relevant experience in Structural Analysis, particularly in static stress and/or fatigue analysis.
