Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

iO Associates have partnered with a world leading FMCG business in the search for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Maintenance Manager on site, taking responsibility & ownership for delivering a high quality engineering service.

You will be rapidly diagnosing and resolving both mechanical, electrical and basic control and instrumentation faults as well as leading maintenance activities to agreed standards and the PPM plan. This role will require you to work collaboratively with all teams on site to resolve issues rapidly and drive improvements to equipment reliability and reductions in waste.

You will be an Apprentice trained or time served electrically biased Multi Skilled Engineer. Ideally you will have experience working as an Engineer in a FMCG Manufacturing Plant. 18th Edition is essential and PLC experience would also be beneficial.

The role comes with a package including an hourly rate up to £18.11 plus a shift allowance of 7.6% - annual salary of £42,546.46. Additional benefits include, 240 hours holiday per year, life assurance, a pension scheme and free on site parking.

This is a shift based role. Working a 24/7 pattern, 4 Shifts on & 4 Shifts off. 4 shifts on: 2 days 06:00 to 18:00 & 2 nights: 18:00 to 06:00 (42 hours per week)
