Job title: Naval Specialist Consultant (Submarines)

iO Associates are delighted to partner with a bespoke Naval consultancy who are currently supporting a number of complex and highly specialist projects and programmes within the Submarine domain. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has User experience within Submarines and Consultancies who are looking to further establish themselves as an SME.

As an expert Submarine specialist, you will be working on a number of project requirements including but not limited to

Examining and assessing technical papers, specification and design suggestions.
Writing technical reports, manuals, procedures and papers.
Conducting risk assessments, cost-benefits analysis and feasibility studies.
Providing expert advice and key strategic guidance on client demands.

Successful Submarine specialists will be dedicated experts and ideally have:

A qualification or degree in Engineering within a related field or discipline.
User experience as an ex-submariner understanding the complexities of design, operations or construction.
In depth knowledge and understanding of relevant standards and regulations.
Excellent internal and external stakeholder engagement experience.
Previous experience managing multiple areas of business as a project manager.

Please also be aware, due to the nature of the role successful applicant will be required and willing to go through enhanced UK SC Clearance and meet criteria as a Sole UK National.
