IO Associates are looking for an SC Cleared Network Engineer with experience in Cisco ASA Firewalls/Nexus Switches.

If you're interested in joinining a challenging Network Operations team responsible for the day to day support, monitoring, management and troubleshooting on a 6 month contract, this could be for you.

Essential Skills for the SC Cleared Network Engineer role:

• Hold current SC clearance - MUST HAVE
• Hold CCNA certification (Routing and switching/Security)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Be willing to be available for out of hours work and on-call to maintain and minimise the risk of outages to business systems.
• Previous experience of working with a complex network infrastructure
• Layer 3 switching
• OSPF/BGP
• Switching and Routing
• Proven Track record of troubleshooting complex Firewall and network issues
• Firewall ACL's

Desirable Skills for the SC Cleared Network Engineer:

• VMWare NSX/Software Defined Networking
• F5 Big-IP
• Solarwinds
• CCNP
• CCM
• Splunk
• Palo Alto
