NOC Shift Engineer - Nokia, MPLS, Cisco

(Nokia) NOC Engineer wanted for Telecommunications business in Hampshire.

£40,000-£50,000 (experience dependent).

Onsite - Modern Office, Free Park and Accessible by Public Transport.

24/7 Rotation - (12-hour shifts) - 4 Day Shifts, 4 Off, 4 Night Shifts, 4 Off, Repeat Cycle.

Being a NOC Shift Engineer you will be responsible for monitoring, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of all networks. Ensuring all customer faults are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.

What makes you stand out as a NOC Shift Engineer? Being experienced in network diagnostics across multiple platforms, accompanied with the ability of driving fault resolution within service level agreements. Task and time management and organisational skills will also help!

Experience & Knowledge Wanted:

• Level 2 (L2) / Level 3 (L3) support experience.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, MPLS, OSPF, BGP & DNS.
• Knowledge of Nokia MPLS.

Desirable Experience & Knowledge Wanted:

• Experience working Cisco or Juniper networks (routers and switches).
• Experience with SDH & DWDM.
• Cisco, Juniper or Nokia certifications are desirable.
• ITIL certifications are also desirable.
