NPI Lead Engineer

iO Associates have partnered with a leading Medical Device manufacturer, in the recruitment of an experienced NPI Lead Engineer to oversee the delivery of new products.

You, the NPI Lead, will be responsible for coordinating and managing the activities and outputs of the design team, as well as oversee the planning and execution of product testing.

You will also be responsible for safety and efficacy of new products introduced to the market through the meeting of all design control requirements and the creation of robust design inputs from user needs and ensuring design outputs meet both in the commercialized device.

You will be the single point of contact to the Project Manager planning, managing and reporting the project deliverables of the NPI team.

To be successful in the role, you will need to have previous experience with NPI and Medical device preferably, as well as having hands on experience of the creation of technical drawings in compliance with MDR and ISO Standards.

Key skills required:

• Previous experience within a Medical Device company working to EU MDR and ISO 13485/14971 standards
• Mechanical Engineering Degree background preferred
• 2D or 3D CAD package
• Excellent written and communication skills
