Packaging Development Coordinator

My Client, a Global FMCG company with award winning portfolio are looking for a Packaging Development Coordinator to join their team in Bristol.

As Packaging Development Coordinator you will be supporting the Packaging Development team to continually review and improve product formats to build differentiation and a hierarchy of packaging whilst developing new product formats in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner ensuring that quality and the customers' needs are met.

On a day to day basis this will involve you ensuring right first time artwork approval and on time EPD/NPD delivery. The role requires excellent attention to detail whilst setting up the SKUs of which there are over 400. You will provide links between all the other departments such as sales, marketing and production as well as providing technical support to operations in relation to production line compatibility, quality and trade performance.

You will also be coordinating material and packaging trials, Continuous improvement initiatives and artwork management.

In order to be considered for this role you will need:

• Experience of Material requirement planning; ideally using JDE.
• Experience of Reprographic & artwork management experience
• Strong value engineering principles
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong customer focus and service
• High levels of attention to detail
• Ideally you will have a science/Engineering background

In return you will receive a salary of £28,000-£31,000 along with a company pension, medical insurance and a product allowance.
