Role: Planning Engineer

Location: Bristol or Plymouth (hybrid)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus bonus, flexi hours, private medical, and much more

A world-leading consultancy is looking for an experienced and professional Planning Engineer to join their team in the South West. With 118 offices, they are a global consultancy with 75 years' experience operating across real estate, infrastructure, defence and natural resources sectors.

This role will sit alongside a whole team of other experienced Engineers/Managers and other specialists in the various Project Controls disciplines where you will be able to work both collaboratively and independently on multiple critical projects

This role will see you working on one of the biggest Infrastructure Programmes in the UK, bringing Britain's largest economic regions closer together through zero carbon energy, providing a cleaner, greener alternative to domestic flights and driving


They are looking for you to have professional Project Controls experience and in the application of at least one Project Controls discipline of Planning and Scheduling, Cost Estimation, Cost Management, Risk Management or Reporting and their associated software / tools.

You also;

  • Significant experience in all aspects of planning and scheduling
  • An understanding of Risk management and change management, earned value analysis, completion forecasting and status reporting
  • An understanding of programme contractual requirements
  • Previous experience dealing directly with clients
  • Good IT skills and the ability to operate professional planning tools such as Primavera P6
