Principal Engineer

Principal Engineer - £90,000-£100,000 + benefits - Cloud-based FinTech - Remote

iO is currently partnering with one of the Top 10 companies in the '100 FinTech Disrupters ranking for 2020' and they are looking for a Principal Engineer to join them.

They are storming ahead of the traditional banks in a specific area of banking; their core product is a cloud-based platform that allows any third party to get access to the full UK clearing system through an API plugin, which is an infrastructure that allows for payments in real-time.

You will be working across three teams (hives) and there will be a lot of greenfield development.

They are looking for someone who can deploy into a team, solve a complex problem, make a solution, and come up with proof of concept to then lead the team with the development. The team works in a very harmonious way, so they are looking for someone patient, calm with good communication skills.
