Process Engineer (Composites)

We're working with a pioneering engineering business developing cutting-edge aerodynamic and composite technologies for a range of industries. They are seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a strong background in composite materials and FMEA processes to support the development and optimisation of advanced manufacturing methods for high-performance components.

Role Overview

Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for advanced composite structures used in aerodynamic applications
Conduct detailed process reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
Lead FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities to identify and mitigate process risks
Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new manufacturing processes
Support validation, testing, and documentation activities in line with engineering and regulatory standards

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Process Engineer within composites manufacturing or a similar high-performance materials environment
Solid understanding of FMEA principles and their application in process development
Strong knowledge of composite materials, lay-up techniques, and curing processes
Experience with process validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams
