Production Engineering Technician

iO Associates are currently working with one of the top Nanopore Sequencing companies globally who are looking for a Production Engineering Technician to join their team in Oxford.
The company is headquartered in Oxford with over 750 employees and satellite offices in Cambridge (UK), New York, Cambridge, San Francisco (US), Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, and a broader commercial presence that includes Japan, Germany, France and India.

The role would be to provide hands on engineering technical support for product manufacturing lines and processes. This will involve mechanical and electrical assembly of production manufacturing equipment. Solving process and equipment related issues whilst supporting planned maintenance/calibration requirements for manufacturing.

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in production manufacturing environments
* Manufacturing equipment servicing and calibration
* Basic mechanical and electrical engineering principles
* Hands on technical ability working with manufacturing equipment, mechanical assemblies and electrical installations.
