iO has partnered with a well-established FMCG Manufacturer in the search for a Production Planner to join the team based in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the chance to work at a state of the art manufacturing facility and become a part of the company's growth.

The company looking for an experienced Planner that can create optimised production plans & forecasts for food production. Understanding of the end to end production supply chain is the key experience they're looking for, so you'll be able to organise production requirements in line with material availability, to meet the customer's needs.

The role will focus on 6 key tasks;

Production Scheduling
Inventory Management
Demand Forecasting
Process Optimisation
Continuous Improvement
Communication & Collaboration

Experience

Developing influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of relevant food and manufacturing legislation
Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
Ability to communicate effectively
Experience of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across the business
Experience in Planning/Purchasing
Experience in the use of SAP would be beneficial
Understands production ie changeovers/downtime/manning
Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software (Microsoft Office Products)
