You will be working with a team of experienced and talented individuals across multiple disciplines and in an organisation that not only has the benefit of a global presence, but as a subsidiary means you will work in a small team environment, that is increasing rapidly and with lots of opportunity for growth.

What we’re looking for:

Due to our recent success securing multiple new contracts, we now require talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey.

We are looking to hire a Project Controls specialist that is looking for a new challenge and interested in joining our growing PMO function on the delivery of cutting edge technologies for the UK MoD.

We're looking for individuals with experience of working within a PMO as a project controller or planner either within defence or commercially and with experience of project planning, controls and EVM.

You will be part of a PMO that is responsible for the delivery of a number of technical programmes for the UK MoD across Land, Sea and Air. Working directly with the programme directors and programme managers for these deliveries we are looking for individuals who are excited by keeping programmes on schedule and to budget and take pride in engaging in project start-up and meticulous planning of project controls in MS Projects or other planning suites.

Your day to day responsibilities will differ project to project and we're looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys the challenge of being hands on across all areas of the PMO and is able to report and engage with key stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery.

You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as liaison with the Prime programme delivery consultants

  • Managing Programme Baseline change management process

  • Auditing and recording change requests

  • Maintaining status of the baseline schedule

  • Running the monthly programme reporting rhythm

  • Creating, managing and updating project plans and schedules in MS Projects

  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation

What’s in it for you:

Elbit Systems UK is at the forefront of technological innovation within our industry and as our presence grows in the UK, we want to recruit talented individuals to build a cohesive and diverse group on numerous projects. We offer competitive salary packages, flexible working hours, health care options, life cover, family friendly policies and a range of additional benefits including salary sacrifice schemes, discounts, access to Learning and Development tools and support for yours and your family’s health and wellbeing.

All the positions will be based full-time or with alternative flexible arrangement from our offices either in Bristol, London or home based (where the job allows).
