Job Title: Project Manager Secure Communications

Hourly Rate: £60/hour

Location: Portsmouth (Onsite)

IO Associates is looking for an individual with proven project management experience, exceptional leadership, and communication skills to lead complex military satellite communications projects. As part of the client's team, you will play a pivotal role in project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing, adhering to client's project lifecycle standards and PMI guidelines.

Essential:

• A degree or equivalent in project management, business management, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in the PMI Project Management body of knowledge.
• Basic understanding of AGILE project management.
• Minimum five years of experience in approving initial briefs/baselines, delivering projects, and supporting bids in an engineering environment, preferably in communications, aerospace, space, or Défense industries.
• A strong technical background to complement your project management skills.
• STEM degree or equivalent.
• PMI/PMP certification.

Responsibilities:

• Leading project initiation and planning processes.
• Overseeing project execution, monitoring progress, and controlling project activities.
• Ensuring the successful delivery of complex secure communications infrastructure and services.
• Managing projects according to Airbus project lifecycle standards, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule performance.
