Project Manager - Bristol
£40,00 - £60,000k per annum (dependant on experience) + benefits

The role will be project managing to plan, lead, organise, and motivate agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects that provide exceptional business value to users mainly implementing software to web development projects. Experience in financial services is strongly desirable.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of projects aligned to strategic goals of the business
  • Define project scope and schedule while focussing on regular and timely delivery of projects, whilst maintaining excellent stakeholder engagement
  • Support the initiation of complex projects
  • Manage the end-to-end project execution with a focus on exceptional customer and business outcomes, including both technical and business elements
  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments
  • Supporting the Design Team, Product Owner or Business Analyst in managing customer expectations for project deliverables
  • Define and manage a project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Work with scrum masters to promote empowerment of the team
  • Working with the Practice Managers to ensure correct number of resources are planned in for the project
  • Overseeing the accounting, costing, and billing of projects

Experience required:

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects
  • Experience overseeing multi-function project teams including Developers, User Experience, Business Analyst and QA/Tester
  • Experience in financial services is strongly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating and team building
  • Solid understanding of Agile Project Management tools and techniques
  • Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
