Software Developer
Up to £80,000 | Remote
Our client is seeking a talented Software Developer to take a lead role in building an advanced forecasting platform from the ground up. This is an opportunity to shape a modern, data-rich product combining intuitive UI/UX, AI integration, and statistical modelling, delivered as both a SaaS platform and a secure, closed-network deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the MVP, from architecture through to implementation.
* Lead ongoing development with a focus on scalability, performance, and user experience.
* Build clean, responsive user interfaces and interactive dashboards using React.
* Collaborate with domain and AI experts on probabilistic models, decision-theoretic outputs, and AI agents.
* Work across the full stack: Python backend, SQL data layer, and React frontend.
* Design systems that support integrated AI features and advanced statistical analysis.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience with Python, SQL, and React.
* Experience building and deploying data-rich platforms, ideally in forecasting, analytics, or decision-support contexts.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a small, focused team.
* Enthusiasm for statistics, forecasting, probabilities, or decision theory.
* Familiarity with secure deployment in cloud and air-gapped environments.
* Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience delivering SaaS and/or on-premise solutions.
* Understanding of data visualisation, dashboard design, or interactive analytics.
* Knowledge of AI integration patterns or statistical modelling workflows.
* Exposure to performance optimisation, scalable architectures, or modern DevOps practices.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a new platform from day one. If you enjoy building ambitious products, solving complex problems, and working across the stack, this role offers the chance to have a significant and lasting technical impact.
