QA Analyst Contract - Malmesbury - 6 Months

Currently I am looking for QA Analyst Contractor, for 6 months, paying up to £310 a day inside IR35. The role would have to be based onsite in Malmesbury.

The requirements for this position are as follows;
Reporting to the Head of Data Governance, the DQ Analyst will be responsible for:
* Working with the DQ/MDM team to Build/maintain/develop DQ scorecards
* Working with the business to collate and validate DQ rules
* Working with the DQ/MDM team to create DQ rules in DQ management tooling
* Working with the business owners to define, value and remediate quality issues and inefficiencies
* Establishing an understanding of critical data elements, creating and maintaining clear definitions
* Working with GDF data architects and platform resources on data models
* Using data quality and reporting technology to measure, capture and report in a consistent and meaningful way across data domains
* Supporting the DG/MDM Solution Lead to run data user forums to understand, improve and champion data quality
* Contributing to the development of the Data Quality Roadmap
* Building relationships with key business partners to understand their data and their data quality priorities, leading good data practices
* Contributing to enterprise-wide comms and training plans and delivery for data quality initiatives

Competencies, qualifications and qualities:
* Experience across the above responsibilities, and an ongoing drive to get to the root of data issues and finding the best way to fix them
* Knowledge of data related regulatory requirements and emerging trends
* Self-driven Individual with high levels of resilience and tenacity. An ability to thrive during change
* Effective communication skills, able to draw out the necessary detail from business colleagues to define fit-for-purpose standards and challenges
* A highly collaborative and communicative approach to issues by default, a focus on achieving objectives and delivering value over remit and perfection.
* A robust understanding of data functions and the part that data quality plays in operational efficiency and downstream analytics capability
* Degree or above educated preferred but not essential - An overriding drive to deliver value and a capability to do so within data governance are the essential qualifications
* SAP, Information Steward and Looker experience desirable

The client is looking for asap start dates, so ensure you will need to be immediately available or coming to an end of your contract. Notice periods could be looked at.
