Quality Engineer

iO Associates are currently working with A leading innovator of high throughput, modular phased arrays is looking for a Quality Engineer to complement the existing Engineering team.
This exciting start-up has been taken over by a leading international communications company who have given them significant investment to expand into the commercial sector.

As part of its progression into the next phase of the company's strategic growth plan, They are seeking to develop its quality engineering function with an experienced Quality Engineer. Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager and working closely with the Design, Procurement and NPI teams. The Quality Engineer will focus on the development and implementation of advanced product quality plans (APQPs) covering all stages of the product lifecycle.

• Demonstratable experience of quality engineering to support product development and management through all stages of the product lifecycle
• Experience of leading the application of APQP in product development including compiling product quality plans, PFMEA, DFMEA, MSA and statistical process capability and control
• Working knowledge of ISO9001: 2015 and AS9100: Rev D
• In depth knowledge and experience of problem solving methodologies including the application of Root Cause Corrective Action methodologies such as 8D or similar
