iO Associates has partnered with a leading aerospace industry player, offering a range of services including industrialization, manufacturing, and quality control. We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team.

Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Hamburg
Salary: €49,000 - 56,000 per annum
Start Date: June
Shift working, 6:30 am to 3:pm / 1pm to 9:30pm

Your Responsibilities:

Perform checks and inspections on aircraft to identify outstanding works and non-conformities (structure, mechanical, and electrical)
Monitor and ensure the proper application of auto-verification processes, special processes, and non-conformities, corrective, and preventive actions.
Coordinate and liaise with customer teams effectively.
Measure and document data associated with control steps.
Create and maintain records of non-conformity reports.
Ensure proper product identification and traceability as per manufacturing documents.
Implement internal and customer-specific procedures and instructions.
Uphold responsibilities and authority concerning QSE (quality, security, environment)

Qualifications

Completed technical education and training as a technician or foreman.
Relevant experience in aviation and quality assurance
Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
Solid MS-Office skills, particularly MS Excel
Familiarity with SAP
Understanding of problem-solving methods (8D, root-cause-analysis, PPS, etc.) and hands-on
Willingness to work in early and late shifts; availability for night shifts and weekends is beneficial.
