Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Manchester (Hybrid 2 days in office)
Duration: Permanent
Salary: up to £50,000

To work for a company that offers engineering, procurement, and construction services to a variety of industries, including mining and metallurgy, environment and water, infrastructure, and sustainable energy, iO Associates is seeking a quantity surveyor.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Estimating and budgeting costs for the duration of your projects.
generating budget assessments and projections for a variety of industries.
Gather information, evaluate it, and determine our stakeholders' and clients' needs.
Generate value-for-money analysis and benchmarking reports by defining and identifying trends and cost drivers.
Make sure the data that is reported is correct and updated.
Encourage innovation both on the customer side and within our business.
Assist with or oversee the creation of tools that combine outputs, dashboards, and data to illustrate unit cost assessments.
Communicate with cross-functional teams to generate concepts for ongoing enhancement.

Skills you bring to the table:

Familiar with commercial roles and functions for large capital programmes.
Experience with common forms of UK Construction contracts such as NEC, FIDIC and JCT.
Ideally experience working with National Highways or Network Rail
