Review & Acceptance Engineer
iO Associates are currently recruiting for a Review & Acceptance - PTLS (Pools, Tanks, Liners, and Sumps) Engineer to join a highly respected consulting firm that delivers creative, sustainable engineering solutions across a range of critical industries.

As a Review & Acceptance (R&A) Engineer for the PTLS scope, you will be at the intersection of structural and mechanical engineering, supporting the resolution of complex engineering issues throughout the fabrication process. This includes significant work with stainless steel vessels, welding topics, and installation review.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that designs align with both project and regulatory expectations, providing technical oversight and challenge where necessary.
Role Responsibilities:
Respond to General Queries, Non-Conformance's, Change Requests, and Exemption Requests from the NSSS Contractor.
Collaborate with Responsible Designers and site experts to resolve technical issues.
Provide oversight to ensure Nuclear Safety and Environmental Regulation requirements are met.
Review and challenge design decisions to align with project strategy and safety standards.
Support coordination and communication with external partners and stakeholders.
Required qualifications and Experience
Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary technical practices within the nuclear sector.
Proven experience within the construction or installation industry.
Solid working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM and Nuclear Site License.
Background in mechanical, structural, stress engineering, or similar (experience with welding, stainless steel vessels, piping, MEH scope advantageous).
