iO Associates are currently seeking a passionate R&D Engineer has experience working within Embedded Systems and programming C, C++ in a Linux environment. It will be for a 12-month contract in Scotland which is likely to extend as part of a new programme of long-term work. This is a stream of contract work that will contribute to software developers worldwide.

This will involve the configuration and bring up of complex software stacks and drivers on the simulated hardware, identifying issues, investigating their root cause, and working closely with the development teams to identify and implement solutions

You, the successful R&D Engineer will be working on identifying, investigating, and implementing solutions for complex software stacks for a client that is generating a new world of innovation. They're looking for an experienced embedded software engineer who will be taking part in powering the world with its most developed technologies for chip design and software security.

Skills required:

• Programming C experience
• Configuration and debug embedded software experience in a Linux environment
• Exposure to open-source software environment and ability to interpret device specifications.
• C++ Experience
