SC/DV GCP DevOps Consultant

iO Associates are working with a key Defence client delivering a major sovereign cloud programme on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role is deemed outside IR35 and offers from £550 - £700 per day. Initially a 6-month assignment, with likely extensions.

• Deploy and manage GCP infrastructure (VPC, IAM, GKE, Cloud Build, etc.)
• Use Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and releases
• Implement DevSecOps practices across cloud environments
• Work closely with security teams to meet MoD/NCSC compliance
• Support production and staging environments for mission-critical systems

Beneficial:

• Experience in Defence, Government, or secure environments
• Exposure to air-gapped or sovereign cloud deployments
• GCP Professional certification (Architect / DevOps Engineer)
