Security Consultant

Security Consultant - Fully Remote - 6-Month Contract - OUTSIDE IR35

iO Associates are currently looking for a Security Consultant to join my client for an intial 6-month contract role (OUTSIDE IR35) offering a competitive day rate for an immediate start. The client is happy for the successful candidate to work remotely with the occasional visit to the client's offices (e.g. once a month) - you must be based in the UK.

The ideal Security Consultant will have strong understanding of a variety of business applications and infrastructure, including Industrial/Manufacturing. You're going to be working for a digital transformation consultancy who is growing at an excessive rate. You'll ben joining at a time where this client is opening up new offices and branches across the UK in which you'll be a massive part of this expansion.

You must have experience with the following:

• Assist with application information gathering and documentation, guiding the rest of the project team.
• Have good experience of working with client's within Industrial/Manufacturing
• Carrying out risk and compliance assessments against each application discovered
• Producing proposed remediation activities; i.e. config change, process change, upgrade, migration, removal, etc.
• Co-ordinate, possibly undertake if they have the skills, testing and scanning of the applications and risk based prioritisation of vulnerabilities.
