Job Title - Asset Controls Engineer

Salary - up to £42K

Location - Wakefield | Onsite Working

iO Associates is seeking for Asset Controls Engineer to work with the international supplier of automation systems to the entertainment sector, which includes famous venues and internationally recognized touring acts. They provide spaces to accommodate exceptional performances and events, as well as hardware and software tools that enable designers to fulfil their creative ambitions. The engineering complex movement for artist, brands, performing art spaces and venues around the world.

You will be responsible for primarily focus on preparing, servicing, testing, and modifying assets control and electrical equipment to ensure the assets can be delivered to high quality and compliance standards. The assets to deliver control assets to projects efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, maintaining, testing, and adjusting electrical and asset control devices to guarantee that the assets meet strict compliance, quality, and reliability requirements.
  • Work with the department Management team to coach and develop the Controls team.
  • In charge of putting departmental SOPs and checklists into practice and keeping them up to date.
  • Ensure that Control assets are delivered to integration in a satisfactory manner.
  • Take charge of the job, oversee the agreed-upon asset preparation, and constantly be proactive in making sure that all health and safety regulations are fulfilled.
  • Interpret technical drawings and maintain and deliver Control assets.
  • Conduct necessary tests and inspections to keep the stock of control assets available for rental.

Skills:

  • A good all-around general education.
  • Knowledge of hand tools, workshop machinery, and accurate record keeping.
  • Able to read schematic drawings.
  • Experience working in a Control Engineering environment and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Two years experience in a supervisory role.
