We've recently partnered with a technology business in growth mode, focused on developing cutting edge products they are now seeking a senior C++ developer to join the team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

Lead in the invention and development of advanced software.
Work as part of a team delivering the full lifecycle of software development from requirements collecting to customer support into both the gaming and engineering industries.
Collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements and tailor our C++ solutions to their needs.

Requirements:

BSc or equivalent degree in a numerical subject (e.g. computer science, engineering, science or maths).
5+ years of professional experience in C++/C/Rust or Java development.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Proven track record of delivering end-user solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with both internal development teams and customers.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and tight development time lines.

This role is based in Edinburgh, although hybrid working is on offer you must be based within a commutable distance from Edinburgh.
