iO Associates is carrying out a confidential search for an experienced replacement to take over the position of Senior Director Medical Affairs.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Hamburg.

You'll be working for a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company who're dedicated to R&D, with significant contributions to the field of therapeutic respiratory products and rare diseases.

Requirements:

PHD in relevant field with inpactful Postdoctoral research completed (ideally over yrs Postdoc experience)
Strong Scientific / Medical Advisory background relating to respiratory diseases and rare disease.
Management / Director level experience in Medical Affairs
Experience in the development of global Medical Affairs strategic and history of leading multiple teams within Germany
Strong knowledge of medical strategy implementation & development, planning and overseeing national studies within Germany
Outstanding stakeholder management skills, particularly those developed with external key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
Ability to execute advisory board meetings and reviewing medical correctness for sign-off
Previous organisation of scientific events and medical education material.
Fluent in German and English, based near to Hamburg.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to lead multiple teams with more than 50 colleagues in total across Medical Advisory, MSL, RWE experts and Patient Advocacy.
