Looking to onboard a Senior Embedded Software Engineer on a permanent basis, be prepared to jump straight into a multiskilled team working on a variety of projects at the leading edge of today's technology. Leveraging modelling and simulation throughout the design cycle to improve quality and productivity, you will be involved with the whole production cycle - collaboration and communication is key!


What will you do?

  • Writing, testing and maintaining C
  • Making software run on any MCU


What skills will you need?

  • Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of Embedded C
  • Experience developing device drivers, control systems, and communications protocols
  • Ability to follow schematics and PCB layouts
  • Thorough understanding of software development practices
  • Microcontroller IDE / development tool proficiency
  • At least 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of embedded software


You'll benefit if you have system level safety concepts, knowledge of ASPICE, knowledge of model-based design tools and experience with MATLAB/Simulink. Experience within the automotive industry, knowledge and experience of system level safety concepts and requirements (ISO 26262) and real time operating systems (RTOS) is highly valued.


Your personality is important, enthusiasm goes a long way, organisation is a no brainer and good inter-discipline communication skills are essential. Bonus if you have a sense of humour!


You can get all of this and a £45,000-£55,000 salary depending on experience
