As part of a dynamic and high-performing organisation, you'll take the lead in producing precise and competitive estimates for large-scale renewable energy projects across the UK, with a focus on cutting-edge battery storage infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Prepare accurate electrical estimates for battery storage and other renewable energy projects.
Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to scope and price works.
Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best commercial outcomes.
Conduct material and labour take-offs and compile comprehensive Bills of Quantities.
Support tender submissions and provide commercial insight during bid processes.
Apply value engineering principles to enhance project competitiveness.
Collaborate closely with design and delivery teams to align estimates with project objectives.
Keep estimating tools and cost databases current and relevant.

What You'll Bring

Solid experience estimating large-scale electrical infrastructure or BESS projects.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies.
Experience with contestable works up to 400kV is highly desirable.
Familiarity with UK electrical standards, DNO specifications, and grid connection protocols.
Excellent numerical and analytical abilities with a sharp commercial mind.
A proactive, detail-focused approach with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating tools.
