Senior FPGA Engineer

Job title: Senior FPGA Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE + Benefits
Location: Derby

If you are an experienced FPGA engineer, well versed in all aspects of FPGA design and ready to take on some serious challenges with high reliability-critical systems then this is the role for you.
iO have partnered with an exciting cyber consultancy supporting the UK crypto community looking for a high-calibre engineer with extensive experience with FPGAs. You will be designing test procedures, using your excellent problem solving skills to identify issues and provide solutions. This will be an evolving role, so a you will need to keep up to date with the latest FPGA technologies and design tools and will be offered development opportunities to enhance their skillset further.

Key technical skills: (not limited to)
- Extensive FPGA and VHDL experience
- Remain up to date with current FPGA and SoC technologies
- Extensive experience with Modelsim
- Minimum 8 years' experience in FPGA design

Desirable skills:
- Vivado, Libero and Quartus tool chains
- Verilog experience and systems knowledge
- Network layer 2 and 3 protocol knowledge
