Job Title: Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Contract)

Location: Manchester (Hybrid, 1-2 days on-site)

Rate: Outside IR35 £500 per day+

Contract Length: Initial 6 months

We are working with a well-established health care technology company that is scaling its digital products and services to meet growing demand. They are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join them on a contract basis to help build and maintain critical features across both their frontend and backend systems.

This role will involve working closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, product owners and designers to develop scalable, performing software that improves patient experiences and clinical work flows. You will be a key contributor to architectural decisions, clean coding practices and modern development work flows.

The Tech Stack:

Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, Next.js, HTML5, CSS Modules
Backend: Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs
Cloud & DevOps: AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB), Docker, CI/CD pipelines
Testing: Jest, React Testing Library
Tools: GitHub, Jira, Slack

What they're looking for:

7+ years of professional experience in JavaScript development
Strong experience in both React.js and Node.js
Experience building and maintaining production-grade applications
Good understanding of cloud-native development, ideally with AWS
Ability to work within Agile teams and contribute to sprint planning and code reviews
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid team
