Senior Fullstack Developer | London | £80,000 - £90,000 DOE

I am supporting a business revolutionising the traditional online payment & shopping experience. They are simply looking to positively impact customer and retailers financial systems, as they firmly believe they deserve fairer and better deals.

They are empowering customers to shop smartly and earn instant cash back & rewards, for retailers to extricate themselves from prohibitive fees and increase their sales.

So far, they have raised $30m of funding from leading venture capital and angel investors. This is a very exciting time for you to join them and play a pivotal part of their success.

Culture is very important, you will have a great work-life balance and a solid team of developers to work alongside. This will most definitely be a challenging role for someone, however, an extremely rewarding one too.

Hybrid arrangement, the expectation is once a week in the London office.

Day to Day:

• Be involved in one of their cross-functional teams to build user experiences for growth/marketing.
• Play an active role in their code review process, reviewing code from across the team as well as making it easy for others to review the code you write.
• Gain a better understanding of the business, customers, and their domain, allowing you to use your judgement to make autonomous decisions.
• Share your knowledge/experience/interests with the team - be it through pairing, a talk or external speaking opportunity.

Skills:

• Solid experience using NodeJs
• Knowledge of cloud based services and serverless technologies, ideally in AWS.
• Experience in React
• Start-up mindset - experience working for a start-up is essential.
