Elbit Systems in the UK are a Defence, Technology and Aerospace company working on a range of technologies for both military and civilian applications.

You will be working with a team of experienced and talented individuals across multiple disciplines and in an organisation that has the benefit of a global presence with plenty of growth opportunity.

What we’re looking for:

Due to our recent success securing multiple new contracts, we now require talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey.

Following the win of Selborne at the end of December we are looking for a Senior/Lead Hardware Engineer to join us on the development and delivery of state of the art training and simulation capability for the Royal Navy.

You will be working as part of a delivery team consisting of Systems Engineers, Developers, Infrastructure Engineers and Project Managers to architect, develop and deploy the future solution.

With the role of Lead Hardware Engineer on the project you will be responsible for ensuring all designs and developments of technical specifications meet the requirements to ensure that the simulator is able to deploy synthetic environments for training. This will see you involved with the security, infrastructure, hardware and also liaising with third party suppliers who will also be integrating in to the product.

This is a truly unique opportunity and will see you shape the future of Naval training over the coming years as well as being involved in the growth of the hardware team over the coming years.

Ideally we are looking for individuals with prior experience working within and delivering to the UK MoD but at the core of the role we are looking for an individual that is truly excited by both technology and the opportunity to join us on the journey over the coming years.

Skills we’re looking for:

  • Virtualisation

  • Simulation and training systems

  • Simulation/ networked gaming integration

  • TCIP/ IP and networking concepts

What’s in it for you:

Elbit Systems UK is at the forefront of technological innovation within our industry and as our presence grows in the UK, we want to recruit talented individuals to build a cohesive and diverse group on numerous projects. We offer Competitive salary packages, flexible working hours, health care options, life cover, family friendly policies and a range of additional benefits including salary sacrifice schemes, discounts, access to Learning and Development tools and support for yours and your family’s health and wellbeing.

All the positions will be based full-time or with alternative flexible arrangement from our offices either in Bristol, London or home based (where the job allows).
