Senior Infrastructure Technology Engineer

iO Associates are working with a household name who are on the lookout for a Senior Infrastructure Technical Engineer to join their growing team.

This Senior Infrastructure Technical Engineer will champion IT as an enabling force within the business, focusing on providing a secure and available platform.

Role: Senior Infrastructure Technical Engineer

Location: Cardiff (with remote working)

Salary: Competitive

This role will encompass BAU and project work. There is a huge amount of work planned and a very busy environment - this offers lots of challenging, interesting work to get your teeth into.

This role will involve working with

• PowerShell scripting
• Azure (including Azure AD, Cloud App Security and Conditional Access)
• Office 365 and Exchange Online
• Automation
• Hyper-V
• DHCP

Responsibilities for the role include:

• Supporting cloud-hosted and some on prem infrastructure
• Resolving third line issues
• Mentoring infrastructure teammates
• Keeping up to date with technology
• Challenge the status quo

Experience in all of the above technology is not mandatory. This company has a huge emphasis on training and development, and the team has a great culture of mentorship.
