Senior Instrument Engineer

£45-52 per hour, Outside IR35

A prominent leader in comprehensive oilfield services, seeks a Senior Instrument Engineer adept in supporting drilling, well integrity, intervention, plug and abandonment, and decommissioning specialties within the industry.

As Senior Instrument Engineer your role revolves around leading the creation, enhancement, and integration of instrumentation systems crucial for the smooth functioning of operations.

Skills required:

· Oil & gas industry

· Understanding of instrumentation systems.

· Experience of Instrumentation brownfield.

· Experience of offshore installations.
(must be instrument bias, not electrical)

Essential:

• Degree qualified, or appropriate experience
• Experience and competence with instrumentation systems, fire & gas, telecoms etc.
• Instrumentation brownfield experience of offshore installations
• Knowledge and experience of applicable UK legislation and standards, European and International standards, offshore codes & standards
• Competent with checking applicable instrument deliverables

Desirable:

• Chartered Engineer membership
• Knowledge and experience of offshore drilling facilities
• Offshore survey experience and valid certificate
