Job title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Warrington or Westlakes
Job type: 12 months initially- with possible extension
Salary: Up to £55.00per hour

Shift Timings: 3 days site / 2 days remote

Looking for an Engineering expertise with a track record of accomplishment, including recent roles directing technical staff, influencing engineers, and designers in the definition, execution, and delivery of engineering work packages under the supervision of a Responsible Engineer.

Required:

  • Five of the ten years prior to now having worked in positions where engineering knowledge was essential.
  • Working in a qualified and quality-assured system (preferably nuclear) for at least one of the previous three years in tasks that heavily relied on professional engineering judgement and where design was an integral element of the role

Responsibilities:

  • Engineering experience with a track record of accomplishment, including leadership roles directing technical staff and influencing professional engineers in the formulation, execution, and delivery of engineering work packages.
  • Capable of defining development work specifications and interpreting and applying outcomes
  • Understanding of the rules, laws, and procedures that apply to the supported area
  • Current knowledge about machinery and plants, including standards, rules, and operating environments that have an impact on
  • Understanding of pertinent design tools, strategies, and associated procedures, such as Hazop process and IT systems
