Are you an experienced network engineer seeking challenging projects with cutting-edge technologies? Look no further! We're searching for a Senior Network Engineer to join a technically driven team in Zurich!

As a seasoned professional, you'll take ownership of demanding customer projects from initial consulting through to implementation. Your expertise in Cisco Nexus switches, Spine-Leaf architectures, MPLS backbones, and IP BGP upstream will be crucial. Here are the key tasks awaiting you:

Design and Implementation:

  • Create and maintain network architectures using Cisco Nexus switches and spine-leaf topologies.
  • Ensure high-performance and scalable data center networks.

MPLS Backbone Management:

  • Optimize and manage the MPLS backbone to support a wide range of services and requirements.

BGP Route Configuration:

  • Efficiently configure and manage BGP routes to utilize upstream connections and enhance IP routing performance.

Your Qualifications

Experience:

    • Several years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco Nexus switches.
    • In-depth knowledge of relevant networking technologies and protocols.
    • Completed a technical Bachelor's degree or undertook further training.

Spine-Leaf Topologies:

    • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing spine-leaf topologies for high-performance data center networks.

MPLS Expertise:

    • Strong skills in configuring, managing, and optimizing MPLS backbones.
    • Ability to support services like VPNs, traffic engineering, and Quality of Service (QoS).

BGP Routing:

    • Expertise in configuring and managing BGP routes, especially in connection with upstream providers and IP routing tables.

Certifications:

    • Possession of CCNP, CCNA or CCIE Data Center certifications.

Language Skills:

    • Fluent in German.
    • Very good knowledge of English.
