Senior Network Engineer

iO Associates are working with a leading public sector company who are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to manage and oversee an exciting project based in Cambridgeshire.

The Senior Network Engineer will be work in a small, tight-knit team, in a hands-on capacity and mentor junior members.

Role: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + training + benefits

The primary project responsibility for this role will be managing wired and wireless networks. Responsibilities will incorporate protocols (TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP), installation, configuration and ongoing monitoring. As well as working on switches and firewalls.

Safe to say there is a lot to keep you busy, and the company is looking for a Senior Network Engineer who has a proactive attitude to continual development and improvement.

This role will involve working with:

• ISDN / SIP / Teams Telephony
• Trend Anti-virus
• Veeam Backup
• Mimecast
• Azure
• Office 365
• Routers, switches and patching
