A well-respected global oil services company with a heritage that stretches' back over 40years. Starting their journey like most, on the North Sea in Aberdeen they now have 45 offshore platforms across four continents and operate over 81 mobile land rigs in the Latin America.

They are looking for a Senior Piping Engineer on a new 12-month minimum contract, which is highly likely to extend due to big project funding. The company work at the forefront of the oil and gas industry and have recently won awards for their growth and pioneering engineering.

Skills needed:

• Knowledge and experience of applicable UK legislation and standards, European and International standards, offshore codes & standards
• Competent in the checking of piping deliverables
• Competent with performing and checking piping calculations
• Carry out engineering tasks in a professional manner that ensures technical quality and safety integrity is maintained, whilst performing all duties in a highly competent and efficient manner.
• Preparation of discipline deliverables for input to studies and project estimation
• Design development of new / replacement pipe systems utilizing central project applications including 3D modelling tools, laser scan data and offshore surveys
