Senior Platform Engineer - Microsoft | Prague | €60 - 80,000 depending on experience

iO Associates are delighted to be partnering with a leading software company in their search for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer with a strong Microsoft background to join their growing engineering team.

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead the design and implementation of a Microsoft-based platform.
Manage and automate the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of the Microsoft server fleet.
Design, implementation, configuration and management of private cloud with Dell vSphere, NSX, and Tanzu on Dell PowerEdge and PowerStore hardware.
Design and implementation of cloud-native solutions on AWS Public cloud
Drive the adoption and optimisation of Infrastructure-as-Code practices using tools like Terraform.
Design and implement robust automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployment pipelines, and operational tasks.
Enhance and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Experience required:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Relevant Microsoft Certifications
Significant Experience as a Windows System Administrator (5+ years)
Experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering Roles (3+ years)
Proven Track Record of Automating Windows Infrastructure
Experience with Containerization and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with Scripting and Automation Languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
Experience with Configuration Management Tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Intune)
Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare) with a Windows Focus
