Looking to onboard a Senior Systems Engineer on a permanent basis, be prepared to jump straight into a multiskilled team working on a variety of projects at the leading edge of today's technology. Leveraging modelling and simulation throughout the design cycle to improve quality and productivity, you will be involved with the whole production cycle - collaboration and communication is key!

What will you do?

  • Create system level requirements to customer specifications
  • Perform system design, requirement analysis and verification using SysML
  • Decompose systems level requirements to subsystems and component level
  • Work collaboratively with the Electronics, Software and Systems Engineering teams

What skills will you need?

  • Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
  • 3 years' experience in successfully delivering Systems Engineering in automotive environment
  • Knowledge of SysML
  • Experience in a systems engineering role developing complex vehicle systems across product lifecycle
  • Extensive knowledge of requirements management and analysis tools
  • Understanding of Embedded Software and Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)

You'll benefit if you have system level safety concepts, knowledge of ASPICE, knowledge of model-based design tools and experience with MATLAB/Simulink. Experience within the automotive industry, knowledge and experience of system level safety concepts and requirements (ISO 26262) and ASPICE is highly valued.

Your personality is important, enthusiasm goes a long way, organisation is a no brainer and good inter-discipline communication skills are essential. Bonus if you have a sense of humour!

You can get all of this and a £45,000-£55,000 salary, depending on experience
