iO Associates are pleased to say we have just partnered with an exciting start-up in the automotive industry that will change ride & drive quality in modern cars with their ground-breaking technology in active suspension. Looking to onboard a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Electric Motor Module (EMM) systems engineering group

Responsibilities:

• Working in a small team of engineers
• Work cross-functionally to design and deliver the EMM system
• Define, design and deliver EMM system engineering system requirements and system architecture - ensuring compliance with APSICE and ISO26262 - 4
• Authoring technical safety requirements for EMM sub-systems

Key skills and experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of Automotive Tier 1/Tier 2 experience/embedded system development
• Strong understanding of Systems development cycle (V-Model)
• Experience of developing, maintaining, and debugging real time embedded systems
• Systems development skills both model-based systems engineering (SysML)
• Working knowledge of standard communication protocols (e.g. CAN, Flexray, SPI, etc)
