Senior Web/API Tester

We are looking for a Senior Manual Software Tester to join a Technical QA team at our office in Tewkesbury! We are ideally looking for someone who understands true QA fundamentals and is capable of lateral, outside-the-box thinking and that is interested in a career as a Senior figure in a world-class QA Team.

For this role we will need someone with a grasp of a multitude of Testing disciplines, including functional, non-functional, exploratory, scripted, database and integration.

With the nature of our product base, we place a huge amount of importance on our Test Teams. Acting as hands-on counterparts to the development team, we operate in a truly shift left evironment where the Tester rules the roost.

The best thing about this opportunity is that we will essentially build a role around the successful Tester, based on their strengths and what THEY want to become. We allow fluid movement between teams and offer an environment where learning and personal development are massively encouraged.

Where?

We are situated just North of Cheltenham. We can offer remote work for the right individual and so presence in the office will be required for 1 day a week. We have an amazing office set up with great tech on display and an on-site cafeteria with subsidised meals. (Excellent Roast for lunch on a Thursday.)

What do we need?

• At least 5 years in a similar role
• Strong API Testing abilities with Postman or Cypress.iO
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with VMWare
• Non-functional testing experience
• Passionate about Software QA
• High capacity for lateral thinking
• Experience with SQL for database queries and testing
