Service Architect

iO Associates is seeking a Service Architect to join a software development project in the defense industry. This position offers the opportunity to work with the latest technologies to deliver outstanding software solutions, driving significant growth and planning for an even bigger future.

Rate: £400 (Outside IR35)

Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension)

Location: South West (Hybrid)

*Due to the nature of the project, this role requires active SC Clearence*

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and ensure the best service solution for manageability and maintainability
• Define features, phases, and service requirements
• Provide specifications for service definition, management, testing, and delivery
• Develop services aligned with business strategy and ITIL principles

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in bespoke product development, integration, design, and delivery
• Technical and/or consulting background in IT
• Understanding of the complete service lifecycle
• Interest in technology trends and government IT strategy
• Ability to collaborate across technical and project workstreams
• Strong consulting skills and stakeholder engagement
• High level of self-initiation and organization
• Mandatory: Ability to obtain BPSS or SC Clearance
