Shift Manager

My client in Leicester is looking for an Shift Manager to join their team on a 4 on / 4 off 'Continental type' shift pattern (6am - 6pm).

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the site manufacturing operations when on shift and will be responsible for making decisions concerning management of personnel, production and its quality, cost control, personal safety, food safety and service.

The role involves managing a team of approximately 25 FTE's and you will be responsible for 11 production lines.

You will need the ability to work autonomously, and you will ideally come from a FMCG background, preferably with experience in the food industry. We are looking for a proven leader who is able to innovate and motivate their production team to deliver consistently against Manufacturing KPI's.

Coaching and mentoring your immediate reports to improve the day to day running of the production lines will play a big part in your success at the company too.

In return you will receive:

• Annual salary of £30,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
• Holiday - 236 hours including BH
• Pension - 4% employer / employee
