My Client, a world-renowned Drinks Manufacturer based in Somerset are looking for a Site Quality Manager to lead the Quality Agenda for their large manufacturing site. They have two factories and 24 lines producing over 700 million litres of drink a year.


In this role you will spearhead to site quality agenda for the manufacture of safe legally compliant products and in conjunction with the Head of Technical UK you will be responsible for the development and improvement of site quality performance.


You will be part of the Plant Leadership team and the most senior member of the Quality team on site. You will take an active role in setting and improving the Quality Management agenda and standards for the UK.


In this role you will be accountable for the implementation of the QM agenda and will work closely with the site team including Technical Managers, the Compliance manager, lab and operations teams to ensure audits are completed, HACCP teams are assembled, NPD processes meet compliance standards and all relevant certifications are retained.
You will also be in control of the Quality team expenditure against agreed budget and will responsible for leading the development of the team to support the above roles as required and create a succession plan to increase skills and flexibility throughout the workforce.


To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Leader that has a clear vison who leads by coaching and empowering their team.
  • Degree in a Science or Food Technology
  • 5+ years industry experience in an influential technical/quality role.
  • Demonstrable operational experience gained ideally in a FMCG environment.
  • Up to date with modern manufacturing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial thinker interested in food and drink and improving quality systems.


In return you will receive a salary of £60,000-£65,000 with benefits including a generous pension plan, healthcare plus much more.
