Site Reliability Engineer

iO associates are partnered with an award winning Digital Transformation consultancy on their search for a Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in Java Software Development to start with them ASAP. You'll be responsible for the design & development of monitoring and alerting systems, managing environments, carrying out deployments, setting up security tools & analytics.

Start: ASAP - must be available to start by the end of February

Location: Fully remote, but based in Perth, Australia

Duration: 6 months - or could consider permanent for the right candidate

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience working in Cloud based Microservices environment
• Background in Java Software Engineering
• Setup CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment of the code to environment
• Proficient working with Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Jenkins
• Experience integrating AWS security products to protect accounts and environments
• Be happy to collaborate with dev team to auto-scale the infrastructure to support more transactions per second
• Create high level documentation on strategic infrastructure, devops environments, monitoring & logging
  architecture and runbooks.
