iO Associates is in search of a SOC Analyst & Incident Responder to collaborate with a prominent power supplier known for delivering dependable electricity through varied sources. Interconnections bolster resilience and advance the nation's shift towards sustainable energy solutions.

Experience required

• SOC and Incident Response background.
• Information security degree holder.
• Interest/experience in energy sector control systems.
• Familiar with firewall, IDS, SIEM, EDR.
• Preferably experienced in forensic investigations.
• Proficient in Python, Powershell scripting.
• Strong English skills; German knowledge beneficial.

Major Responsibilities

• Analyzing events to detect potential attacks and creating new SIEM use cases.
• Automating analyses using Python and integrating a diverse toolset.
• Coordinating during security incidents and providing support.
• Monitoring international threats, particularly in the energy sector, and facilitating communication with SOCs and CERTs.
