Senior Software Engineer - High Wycombe - £55,000 - Work from Home

Scientific instrumentation is such a fascinating and important technological field.

From creating and improving pharmaceutical products, to ensuring materials are as efficient as possible in regards to energy storage and conductivity, it covers a lot! Advancements in this field reduce greenhouse gases, increases average lifespan and improves pretty much every aspect of modern-day life.

The trick to successes in this field are down to the instruments used. Like with anything else, improvements are made bit by bit, focussing on the smaller tings in order to create and improved bigger picture. In this instance, on a nanoscale!

These instruments allow the scientific research community to view, analyse and manipulate materials on a molecular level. It takes a very skilled team to not only create these products but to become pioneers in this field.

You'll join and have strong influence on full product lifecycle across new products by designing, developing and maintaining software components on these devices.

£55,000 salary, flexible working hours, pension and even working from home post-covid, are on offer.

Key Skills:

  • PC based software developments using C++ and Visual Studio, a source code control system, a bug or issue tracking system, and debuggers
